Terms of Service for CRJMC.net

These Terms of Service govern your use of CRJMC.net and any related services provided by CRJMC.net. By accessing CRJMC.net, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using or accessing CRJMC.net and from using any other services we provide. We reserve the right to review and amend any of these Terms of Service at our sole discretion. Upon doing so, we will update this page. Service Description

CRJMC.net provides a service that facilitates the process of obtaining Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Checks (CRJMC).

Before using the service, customer declares that the following prerequisites are satisfied. In case the prerequisites are not satisfied and the user proceeds with the purchase, the background check can't be conducted, and the fee won't be refunded:

  • Age requirement: you must be 18 years or older
  • Valid ID: you possess a government-issued photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Ontario Photo Card or other)
  • Ontario Residency: you have a current or recent Ontario address

Our service allows users to:

  • Complete a brief online questionnaire
  • Make payment for the service
  • Be directed to our third-party provider who conducts the actual background check
  • Receive their CRJMC report via email

Important: CRJMC.net is not responsible for conducting background checks ourselves. We use a third-party provider who is responsible for conducting the checks and creating the reports. CRJMC.net only collects payments and directs users to our third-party provider. We do not collect, store, or have access to any results or private data from the checks conducted.

Limitations of Use

By using CRJMC.net, you warrant on behalf of yourself and other parties you represent that you will not:

  • Modify, copy, prepare derivative works of, decompile, or reverse engineer any materials and software contained on the CRJMC.net website;
  • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from any materials and software on the CRJMC.net website;
  • Transfer the materials from the CRJMC.net website to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server;
  • Knowingly or negligently use the CRJMC.net website or any of its associated services in a way that abuses or disrupts our networks or any other service we provide;
  • Use CRJMC.net or its associated services to transmit or publish any harassing, indecent, obscene, fraudulent, or unlawful material;
  • Use CRJMC.net or its associated services in violation of any applicable laws or regulations;

  • Submit false or misleading information to obtain a CRJMC or attempt to manipulate the results of any check.

Intellectual Property

The intellectual property in the materials contained on this website are owned by or licensed to CRJMC.net and protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. We grant website visitors permission to use the website solely for the purpose of obtaining a CRJMC through our service.

These permissions constitute the grant of a license, not a transfer of title. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions or the Terms of Service, and may be terminated by us at any time.

Third-Party Service Provider

CRJMC.net partners with a third-party provider to conduct Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Checks. By using our service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The actual background check is conducted by our third-party provider, not by CRJMC.net
  • Our third-party provider is solely responsible for conducting the checks and creating the reports
  • CRJMC.net only collects payments and redirects you to our third-party provider's platform
  • CRJMC.net does not collect, store, or have access to any results or private data from your check
  • The accuracy and completeness of your CRJMC report is the responsibility of our third-party provider
  • You may be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by our third-party provider

Liability

CRJMC.net takes no responsibility for the use or actions taken based on the contents of this website or the results of any CRJMC obtained through our service.

Our service is designed to facilitate the process of obtaining a CRJMC and we do not guarantee that the information provided in the report will be accurate, complete, or meet your specific requirements. We strongly recommend that you review the report carefully and contact our third-party provider directly if you have any questions or concerns about the results.

Our website and the materials on our website are provided on an 'as is' basis. Due to the nature of our service and the immediate processing of your request by our third-party provider, refunds are generally not available once you have submitted your request and payment has been processed. However, if you have not yet been redirected to our third-party provider's platform, you may contact our customer support team to inquire about the possibility of a refund.
